But when one is coming from notification, the notified tsk should show up. There has to be an inbox opened when the app opens, so one can enter the task without any friction. The user interface needs a lot to be desired. You can still add the previous iOS 13 widget and from there, you can complete your tasks :) Hello, this is due to the recent update from Apple and you can only view tasks in the new widgets. The developers responded, and now I can operate the widget from the home screen itself! Sending love to the Todoist team. I hope the developers realise this issue and fix it ASAP! This new update is a dealbreaker for me and I’m sorry but I’m switching apps. I could tick off the tasks instantly from the home screen itself. The previous old widget was so much better. What’s the point of a widget if I have to go to the app every time I wanna tick off tasks?!?!?! That’s not how widgets are supposed to work. Now I have to tick off tasks from within the app. Every time I try to tick a task off from the widget, it opens the app. The problem here is that I cannot mark my tasks from the home screen now. Now I’m only getting the option of the new iOS 14 widget. Unfortunately a recent update removed the traditional widget. I had no intentions of switching to another to-do app.
